Abstract

A deodorant vaporiser for closed rooms comprises a deodorant container fastened to the inside of a door (or window or shutter etc) together with a pump having a cylinder in which a piston is normally pushed right in against spring loading by the door frame pressing on a projecting piston plunger when the door is closed, as the door opens, the piston moves outwards under spring pressure to suck deodorant from the container into the cylinder, ready to be expelled from there and diffused into the room when the piston moves in as the door is reclosed. The container neck pref. screws on to a bracket secured to the door. Deodorising enclosed spaces with diffusion of vapour to freshen up the atmosphere. The action of the vaporiser is entirely automatic as it expels a measured dose of deorarant each time the door is closed.
