Abstract

The device has a location (2) in which is placed the bundle of paper sheets (3) and the wrapper (4). A moving side piece (6) pushes the papers against another side piece (5). A plate (7) moves on slides (8, 9) in a plane slightly above the top level of the bundle to fold over one flap of the wrapper. The other flap is folded over by a roller (10) mounted on a pivoting arm (12, 13), moved by a ram (20) and fixed to the machine frame. The floor of the location (16) can be opened by pivoting round an axle (17) so that the wrapped bundle can be removed.
