Abstract
The high speed aircraft has a delta shaped main wind system for the optimum aerodynamic performance. The rear, inboard sections of the main wind are provided with cut-outs for the two sides of the tailplane horizontal wings. These are mounted on the sides of the fuselage on parallel struts. For fast flight the horizontal tailplane wings are moved forward to tuck into the cut-outs and form a smooth delta shape. For slower take off and landing the wings are moved rearwards, by pivoting the parallel struts, to take up a position under the vartical tail fin. This provides increased stability to the aircraft at lower speeds without having to introduce complex trimming controls.
