Abstract

A saw tooth signal generator (5, 6) is synchronised by the signals whose frequency is to be converted. First and second comparators (14, 15) compare the saw tooth signals with a fixed reference voltage (18). First and second current sources (11, 12) are respectively controlled by the first and second comparators (14, 15), and a Miller integrator (7, 8, 9, 10) connected between the first and second current sources and the saw tooth signal generator controls the current delivered by the generator as a function of the output current of the Miller integrator and provides a continuous output voltage whose value is a function of the cyclic ratio of the putting into conduction of the first and second current sources by the first and second comparators.
