Abstract

Around the bin top (10) is a rim (2), positioned below the top. On one side are brackets (4) for the cover (6), this having arms (7) on one side joined to the brackets on the bin by a hinge pin (5). Between these arms and on the same hinge, is a wire ring (3), slightly oval in shape. In use, the liner is inserted in the bin (1), its edges being pulled over the rim and held. The ring is lowered to grip the liner, remaining in position whilst this is adjusted. The ring is pressed down onto the rim and is retained by the cover.
