Abstract

A mechanical ejector, for plastic articles and partic. for containers injection- and blow-moulded in a mould of two halves, has an ejector pin attached to each mould half; these pins project into the mould and >=1 is adjustable at right angles to the plane of sepn. of the two halves; >1 pin is moved on opening the mould so as to eject the moulding when it is vertical and equidistant between the mould halves; the moulding turns on the axis of the pins, and swings vertically under gravity when the mould opens. The process ensures that mouldings automatically drop out to a predetermined position.
