Abstract

Trunking or ducting for electrical power transmission, is designed to be assembled where required and has separate outer walls (4, 42) with mating flanges. The outer walls have slots (40) to allow free circulation of air through the trunking, this being aided by a shaped diagonal partition directing the air stream through a preferred route. Phase and neutral conductors (10, 10', etc) in the form of rigid metal strips are grouped in the two compartments so formed and with a cross over section at regular intervals by a section at right angles to the conductors proper. These are protected by a surface layer of some insulator such as polyvinylchloride.
