Abstract

The appliance has two rollers (2, 3) with horizontal shafts, positioned at a distance to each other, in the circumferential direction of the mould. The rollers rotate with a differential interrelation. The free distance (a-2r) between the two rollers is smaller than the smallest side (h) of the cross section of the mould. The axial distance (a) between outer rollers is larger than half the widest side of the mould. One or more of the rollers has a drive, consisting of hydraulic motors, with parallel pressure conduits. One roller is positioned on the outer end of a rocker, the inner end of which forms the bearing for another roller. Several rollers may be so positioned, with the rockers being supported on pedestals.
