Abstract

A height adjustable metal shelving system employs rack type fixed wall posts, consoles (L), shelves (K) and wire shelf rails, all interconnecting together mechanically either via suspension hooks (console to post) or dovetailing of projecting tabs onto support members (shelves to consoles) etc. Posts are of 'U' section doubly perforated sheet steel, with bridge plates at intervals; centred by post spot weldings and incorporating rectangular slots for wall fixing screws, which are, thus, recess concealed. The consoles (L) can be of folded sheet steel, with upper (T) and lower (U) pairs of hooks for hanging and locking to the posts. Shelves (K) are return edged sheets with these latter notched (S) to fit around console hanging hooks (7).
