Abstract

The layers have their faces exposed uninterruptedly along the length of the exterior surface. The assembly of panels or joints is effected by glueing the parts together at intervals along their length according to indicating marks formed along the surfaces of the parts. The positions at which the adhesive is applied are carefully predetermined. The technique has been devised to overcome the need to use skilled operatives to obtain satisfactory results. Applications for the method include timber frames, formwork and wainscotting.
