Abstract
Equipment for use with a heater having inaccessible heat-emission surface, particularly a radiant gas burner, has a detector for light rays (16) between the emission surface (5) and the component to be heated. Means are included (17) for transmitting the rays to outside the heater and to a receiver unit (23). The detector can incorporate an inclined reflector surface (17), transmitting the light through a magnifying glass (22) to an electrical resistance. The detector, transfer device and receiver can be integral and form a quartz rod passing from one side of the heater to the other.
