Abstract

The sun visor is made simply and economically from a single plastic moulding (1). Two or more support tags (2) are moulded to the upper edge and clip-on hinges are attached to the tags either separately or by moulding. The axes of the clips are inclined to each other so that when they are clipped to elastic pivot shafts secured on the car, two 'dead points' are obtained for the sun visor setting, at 180 deg. to each other. Alternately the hinge clips are replaced by shafts extending over the sides of the visor, also inclined to each other, and locating in bearings cups fitted to the car.
