Abstract

A cover for a steering wheel, designed to give a pleasant feel and a good grip for all climatic conditions and for easy attachment, consists of a strip of synthetic fur on a backing layer which carries along two edges a double faced adhesive strip protected by a removable paper layer. This attachment is simplified by removing only a part of the paper layer at one end, applying that end, then removing more paper, and applying more strip in stages until the steering wheel rim has been completely covered. The length of the strip enables any steering wheel to be covered and any excess can be cut off. The strip is 70mm wide, the length is 1400 mm and the adhesive portions are 12mm wide.
