Abstract

The frequency of a magnetron is controlled by a voltage from a frequency control circuit. This voltage is also applied to a sampling circuit controlled by synchronisation signals and to an address unit connected through an input output unit to a memory. This memory contains digital values of correction voltages which are selected by the address unit to correspond with frequency control voltages. A decoder applies a voltage to a summing amplifier with an input from the sampling circuit. The output voltage adjusts the local oscillator frequency which is then compared with the magnetron frequency by mixing and discrimination circuits connected to the sampling circuit.
