Abstract

The novel insecticide, 0-(1-isopropyl-5-N,N-dimethyl-carbamoylthio-1,2,4-triazol(3)yl) ester of N,N-dimethyl-carbamic acid, is prepd. by reacting 1-isoopropyl-3-hydroxy-5-mercapto-1,2,4-triazole, in the presence of an acid acceptor or in the form of its alkali(ne earth) metal or ammonium salt, with >=2 moles N, N-dimethylcarbamic acid chloride, opt. in the presence of a solvent of diluent.
