Abstract

The reservoir (2) has an electric heater in its walls and the base has two slots (3) which are transverse to the longitudinal axis of the ski and open on to both sides of the central groove (4) of the ski. On both sides of the slots there are reliefs (6) which support the lateral edges (7) of the sole of the ski (5) and allow the apparatus to slide along this. Two tongues (9) are fixed to the reservoir to guide the apparatus along the ski. When not in use the slots (3) are sealed by a distributor in the lower part of the reservoir which is turned by a milled knob (15).
