Abstract

A paddle type blade for use in drying rooms are rooms used for testing climatic conditions, and which may be installed near heating devices and employed to give a good air circulation, is of very simple, cheap construction and consists of two sheets of metal, one superimposed on the other, with a space between for insertion of the spindle of a drive motor, welded along the tips of the sheets, so that they slope down from the centre to the tips. The two sheets are secured to the spindle by a pair of spaced apart screws so that a rigid joint is obtained. Little or no balancing is required and there is less weight on the motor spindle.
