Abstract

One U shaped part (2) has straight sides (5, 6) and a web (4) constituting three sides of the container. The second U shaped part (3) at right angles to the first part; has a continuous flange (10, 11) along all its edges. This part has a filler hole (14) on top and constitutes the top (8), bottom (9) and remaining side (7) of the container. The first part has a three layer composition; cardboard outside, aluminium in the middle, ployethylene film inside. The second part has two layers, aluminium outside and ployethylene film inside. Assembly is by inserting the second inside the first part and heat sealing the flanged joint.
