Abstract

The electronic apparatus includes a means, inserted in it, supplying an operating programme so as to produce currents without any intervention being necessary by the operator. Typically this can be a programming unit with a tape reader, a preamplifier, an oscillator, an automatic changeover switch, an audio-amplifier, monitoring units, and output stages with controls. Signal control can be by frequency, coverig all the registration fields. A number of identical currents can be added, or those of different form and nature superimposed on each other. It can be used on one or several patients in one or more different areas, employing the same electrotherapeutic programme without interference between areas.
