Abstract

The photographic developing drum comprises a peripheral support surface at one end, a cover at the other end bearing a crank handle, a frame mounted on the peripheral surface and crank handle to provide support for and rotate the drum, and means for axially reciprocating the drum during rotation consisting of a poin on the frame cooperating with a peripheral groove on the drum surface, the groove being elliptical and disposed in a surface which is not perpendicular to the drum axis.
