Abstract
The perforations are intended to act as acoustic attenuators in the plate located as a lining to a ceiling or wall. The perforations are made in the plate by placing the plate on an anvil which has a number of parallel grooves cut in it. The grooves are separated by a curved portions (16), so that the plate parts may be bent over these curved portions. The perforations are made with a toohed roller (2), which has a number of toothed wheels parallel to each other. The toothed wheels (2) has two sets of teeth (5), and the plate is cut according to the profile (19).
