Abstract
The relay has a base plate (1) with on one side the various parts of the relay and on the other side connecting pins. The magnetic core (10) carries the coil (4) and is fixed onto a frame (11) embedded into the base plate (1). The armature (13) is free to move in a cavity (14) of the base plate (1). This armature (13) is mechanically separate from the moving-contact spring (9) and from the frame sides (11). The armature (13) has pins (16, 18) with one set (16) acting as guides and the other as a striker when the armature is displaced during excitation of the relay. During the excitation, contacts (6, 8) close to form a circuit between connecting pins (5, 7). Connecting pins (2) are connected to the coil of the relay.
