Abstract
This device overcomes the necessity for each wagon to carry its own battery. It consists of a generator (1) which is mounted on an axle (2) which also carries a signal generator (2a). All the other axles carry a signal generator (2b to 2n). These are connected to an electronic control system (5) through rectifiers (3a to 3n) and lines (4a to 4n). By another rectifier (6) and line (7) the feed generator (1) is connected to a capacitor (8) which is earthed. A connection (9) also joins to the electronic control gear. Each signal generator (2b to 2n) may be connected to a common point on the line to the capacitor by a corresponding rectifier.
