Abstract

The table grill unit comprises a heating element enclosed in a rectangular housing which is also a double grid formed by two superposed grids. These are supported by holders which are detachably mounted at each end of a rotary spit which extends from one side wall to the other right through the inside of the housing and ending in a handle on the outside. The bearings for the grids on the sidewalls are mounted in two planes so that in one position the food on the grid can be cooked adjacent to the heating element and in the other position there is enough room between the grid and the element for the grid to be turned over to allow the other side to be cooked.
