Abstract

The fused link comprises an element in the form of a longitudinal metallic member, for example silver or copper into which is inserted a ring (3) of material having a melting point lower than that of the flattened members (221) to which it is attached and soldered. The lnik connectors (221) are crimped to twisted end strips (1, 11) which connect to the electrical circuit in whic the fuse is used by compressed tubular flattened members (4, 41) which may subsequently be soldered or "tinned". The link component is symmetrically disposed about the fusible link component.
