Abstract

Louvred shutter e.g. venetial blind with individually orientable leaves (2), is designed for factory prodn. and constitutes a reactangular frame with internally grooved posts. These grooves receive spacers (8) which also form supports for leaf spindles (5) and bearing sleeves (6). Pref. a spacer (8) is of rectangular block form with semi-circular grooves (8a) on the opposed top and bottom faces. The bearing sleeve (6) is of hollow cylindrical form, and the spindle (5) is of solid cylindrical form with a diametric slot (5a) housing the blade (2) or leaf end (2a). A diametrically projecting rod lever (5b) on the spindle (5) projects through segmental cut outs (6a, 8b) in the bearing sleeve (6) and spacer (8), whereby the blade (2) can be rotated between open and closed stations.
