Abstract

The van body is made up of sections which may be made in wood or metal. The panels are bolted or rivetted together and are also bolted or rivetted to the lorry base, or chassis. The bolt heads are sunk into the van body and are held in place by a cup type washer which is a close fit in the hole in the panel. The inside of t he van body is thus free from obstructions such as bolt heads. The corners of the body are prefabricated to hold the van body panels and bolts. These corners are made of suitable metal.
