Abstract

The mechanism pref. locates at a centre-line joint in the soffit form, and constitutes two opposed 'C' sectioned members attached respectively to the undersides of abutting form edges, each section attaching via web and an angle iron to opposed pinned crank arms; these latter in turn connecting to a screw mounted sleeve. The screw head is of hollow box form with a rectangular projection locating centrally topside and is contained by the opposed 'C' sections. Screw rotation effects lowering of the jack head with attendant lowering and convergence of forms.
