Abstract

The input signal is applied to the filter, followed by a threshold stage whose threshold is adjusted to the lowest possible signal amplitude at this characteristic frequency. Its output delivers a control signal. Further band-pass filters and threshold stages are provided, adjusted to the characteristic frequency harmonics and their lowest possible amplitudes. Outputs of threshold stages are connected to the inputs of a coincidence circuit delivering the control signal. The band-pass filter is tuned to a t.v. signal line frequency, and when the control signal fails, the electron beam is blanked out. An amplitude filter is inserted before the filters.
