Abstract
A series of tape recorders (M) transmit texts at different reading speeds and their modulated outputs are connected to the input of a teacher's control desk (1). The inputs of a series of students' desks (52) are connected to the modulated output of the teacher's control desk by means of electrical connections. Each desk including the control desk has a set of headphones, and each student desk has means of selection (3) for selective connection of his output to one or the other of the tape recorders. The control desk has a microphone connected to the input of an amplifier, and means of selecting the output of the amplifier to one or several of the modulated outputs.
