Abstract

The one piece moulding (1) consists of an upper (2) joined to the sole (3), and the back part of the leg of the boot (4). The leg part reaches to the lower part of the calf and has on its upper part two lateral supports (6) which surround the leg and allow room for the ankle bones (7), thus giving better articulation for the ankle. A cuff (5) is articulated on the upper by means of rivets (9) or screws and serves to protect the leg and to make the boot watertight. The back of the boot is strengthened (8) to limit its flexibility.
