Abstract

Cis-3,3,5-trimethylcyclohexyl ester of DL-alpha-nicotinoyloxy phenyl acetic acid of formula (I) is new and is useful as spasmolytic agent. (I) is more effective and less toxic than known spasmolytic, 3,3,5-trimethyl cyclohexyl ester of mandelic acid (II).
