Abstract

The apparatus for producing a coiled thread package comprises (a) a receiving plate; (b) a thread depositing disc rotatably mounted on a frame; (c) means for moving receiving plate and the depositing disc relative to each other; (d) means for rotating the depositing disc around its axis; (e) means for causing relative movement between the axis of the depositing disc and the receiving plate; (f) a through bore on the depositing disc for the thread; (g) thread feeding device. The latter comprises (1) inlet thread guide; (2) draw-off thread guide; (3) a thread takeup member.
