Abstract

When assembled in tooth-comb formation, the main flat surfaces of the sections (10) are situated on the same plane, with their flanges (A) side by side and turned in the same direction, with strips of mastic or cement placed between adjacent flanges (A). In the Greek-key pattern assembly method, the sections are facing alternate directions with the flanges (A) next to each other. The bottom metal sections (18) have rectangular, box-shaped cross-sections, with one base surface (24) and side surfaces (30) and a top surface cut into two jaws on the same plane (36, 38) separated by a gap (48). The glass wall fits into the gap. The top metal sections are shaped the same as the bottom sections.
