Abstract

Hypocholesterolaemic and normolipaemic compsns. contain as active components p-chlorophenoxyisobutyric acid (clofibric acid) and a cpd. with vitamin B6 activity in a w/w ratio of 0.1 to 20:1, pref. 1:10 (salts and esters of clofibric acid may be used). Suitable cpds. with B6 activity are pyridoxine, pyridoxamine and pyridoxal.
