Abstract

The container is formed from a tube (1) with a right angled triangle cross-section. The tube is made from a folded sheet whose edges are joined at approximately the middle of the hypotenuse of the triangle. Covers (4) are fixed in the ends of the tube and reinforcing pieces can be fitted to the edges. An opening can be made in the top. The container is stable in any attitude, and when two are placed hypotenuse to hypotenuse the resulting rectangular shape is easy to pack. The opening in the top is covered with a cap or similar closure device or is a tear-off strip.
