Abstract

The equipment is particularly for printing, onto paper in conjunction with an inking support or ribbon, oblong marks aligned in the lengthwise direction to form a line portion of a character. These are produced by stylo points aligned in a module. A fixed anvil works (5) in conjunction with the prints (1-3), its width at the face nearest them being at the most equal to the width of the marks. Means are included to avoid the printing of a circular mark by the point tips. The anvil is securely held in place so that its ends cannot get charred, and means are also included to prevent any fouling affecting the cleanness of the mark obtained.
