Abstract

The container is made from semi-rigid plastic and is fitted with a lid. The lid is closed by means of a snap action-lip all the way round. The lid closure is such that the container is effectively sealed. The lid forms a recess which receives a spatula, spoon or knife. Either of these is fixed to the lid by a peg. The lid is covered with a thin transparent plastic film to keep the utensils clean. Typically a knife and spoon fit over each other in the manner of a cross and the covering film is glued or welded in position and has publicity or similar material printed on it.
