Abstract

The greenhouse has at least two saddle-shaped roof parts between each two adjacent rows of supports, each with small span and with tension rods passing through beneath them and with carries supporting them at the blind troughs between them and themselves supported on the supports. The carriers are struts extending out to either side from the respective roof trough and attached in their middle region to the tension rods. The attachment points of the struts to the tension rods are at half the system lengths of the struts. The tension rods are attached between the supports by suspension bars to both the copings of the roop parts and to the blind troughs. Simple structural design is combined with large disposable space.
