Abstract

The packaging, which facilitates transport and handling and acts to produce uniform burning and has holes in the bottom to permit admission of air and to allow the straw to be lit, and a transparent synthetic film at the top. In use, the straw ignites the twigs which in turn heat the base of the charcoal to incandescence, the synthetic film accumulating hot gases until it melts, when the fuel element burns uniformly.
