Abstract

The shaft for attachment to the back of a tractor has a coupling connected to a section enabling the shaft to be pivoted. The shaft curved at the back in order to make room for the machine; from which a straight section slopes down to a coupling consisting of two facing plates for attachment to the tractor. The pivot device for the shaft in relation to the chassis consists of a long pin working in conjunction with an elongated vertical pipe fixed to the back end of the shaft. A control for the pivot device consists of a piston cylinder unit one end of which is joined to an arm extending backwards which is fixed to the shaft behind the pin. The other end of the piston cylinder unit is joined to a backwards-extending plate fixed to the cross beam. The shaft is tubular and contains hydraulic fluid.
