Abstract

The soft substance is expelled from a closed container and spread, using a piston at one end and a pierced plug at the other. Piston and plug are so designed that the substance is expelled merely by pressing on the piston, without the use of a screw mechanism. The piston can be coated with a liquid in which the ingredients of the substances are not easily soluble at ambient temperature e.g. silicon oils. The piston can have a flexible edge, and output can be controlled by a funnel incorporated in the plug, and funnel and plug can be made in one piece.
