Abstract
Appts. for controlling the concn. of a chemical prod. in a liq. e.g. chlorine in a swimming bath, comprising (a) a device for introducing a liquid sample into a sample chamber with transparent walls, and a device for maintaining the quantity of the liq. in the chamber constant (b) a device for the periodic introduction of a specific quantity of indicator into the sample chamber and for mixing this with the test liquid in the chamber. (c) a stabilised light soruce on one side of the chamber and a photo-electric detector on the opposite side, and (d) a comparator for comparing a value corresponding to the light detected by the photo-electric device with a present value, the output from which is connected to an excitation device.
