Abstract
Al ingots contg. 10-60 wt. % Pb as a continuous network are produced from an Al ingot contg. Sn (>7%) which also forms a continuous network by immersing the ingot into a Pb bath to melt and remove the Sn and replace it with the Pb using the hydrostatic pressure of the molten bath.
