Abstract

The ski has a front fixing and a rear fixing for the ski boot. Above the fixings are the snow scrapers and a further scraper is attached directly to the ski. The ski boot can be thoroughly cleaned of snow before the attachment of the ski, ensuring a more secure fixing. If during use the ski becomes loose and snow is driven between boot and ski, the ski can be held stationary with the point of the ski stock being pushed through the hole in the ski and into the underlying snow. The ski boot can be cleaned of snow and retightened in safety.
