Abstract

The pipe socket preferably extends in the peripheral line of the walling surface, upwards from the discharge opening, with a current-assisting contour. It may be inserted in a recess in the walling, and be less than 2 m long, of sound-insulating material. The top of the shaft may be open to the atmosphere. Sound-insulating connection is compact and simplified.
