Abstract

The nozzle is particularly for spraying lubricant on a wide continuous strip of material before it passes through a press and has an axial passage supplied with compressed air, joined by a radial one connected to a reservoir of liquid. An additional passage (30, 31) is provided for the fluid, with an angled outlet discharging into a chamber (14) adjacent to the nozzle outlet. The additional fluid emerging in this manner causes part of the jet to deviate. The chamber can be a dihedron diverging towards the outside, with the two additional outlets into it diametrically opposite and converging.
