Abstract
Transverse excitation gas laser of the type comprising a capacitive electrical energy storing structure, constituted by a two conductor line which propagates a TEM wave, means of discharging the structure under the form of the wave, a channel inserted into one of the conductors and filled with a gas which emits a beam after excitation by the wave. The structure is composed of layers of transvese lines (L) of the two conductor flat type. These lines being arranged perpendicular to the axis of the channel and each exciting a straight section of the channel (c).
