Abstract

The cassette can be calibrated and contains all measurement components and connections; ports and channels are provided between the cassette and the meter pressure carrying parts; the meter has a commercially available measurement insert; all or nearly all cassette parts are made of plastics. The cassette slots into place in the housing so that all the ports are correctly lined up. The top and sides of the cassette are covered with a transparent glass or plastics bell. This is held down on its seat by a cylindrical surrounding piece with inward curved edges at the top and with a flange at the bottom engaging a nut. Sealing is by means of 'O' rings.
