Abstract

The panel consists of a panel (1) which faces the exterior of the building. This panel is marine plywood or similar. The other panel 2) faces the inside of the building and may be a less expensive material. The spacing between the panels is maintained by U shaped metal sections (3) with a wavy bases. Two of these sections are placed back to back and the panels are connected through insulating pads (5) by nails which pass between the sections. In the centre of the void between the panels is a sheet of expanded polyethylene held in place by timbers.
